I have mentioned before that Matt and I have been blessed with community in Seattle. We spent this weekend with our good friends, Dan and Emily Ott. We moved to Seattle around the same time but didn’t meet each other until right before Christmas. Since then, we’ve spent lots of time together at community group (they graciously host our group every week), church, Sunday lunch, and have enjoyed many many game nights. This weekend we decided to explore West Seattle together. It was a clear, sunny weekend in the low 70s! Dan even got a sunburn.
Our first stop was lunch at Marination Station, Seattle’s famous Korean-Hawaiian fusion mobile restaurant.
The Otts! (Check out Emily’s Etsy site!)
We drove to the beach so we could enjoy this view during lunch.
There was a seal on that little thing left of the barge.
The pano is taken with the Photosynth app.
We walked a total of about 4 miles to Alki Beach and back and enjoyed lovely views of the city and mountains.
After a day of sunshine and walking, Matt BBQd for dinner at our apartment!
We are so thankful for this couple. Love you guys!
